Gizmondo Europe Ltd., a unit of Jacksonville, Florida-based Tiger Telematics Inc., will release globally it email service on the Gizmondo multi-entertainment handheld on 28th October 2005.

The device was launched yesterday in North America.

This latest email application expands the communication functionality of the device from text (SMS) and picture (MMS) messages to include a fully-fledged POP3 email service, giving users access to their inbox anywhere within tri-band GSM coverage.
